Lew’s Tournament Pro Speed Spool Baitcast Reel

This is a review of the Lew’s Tournament Pro Speed Spool Reel.

The Lew’s Tournament Pro Speed’s clickers on the drag and it’s cast control knob are superb enhancements.Lews-Tournament-Pro-Speed-940x626

It is smooth, small and lightweight.  The magnetic and centrifugal dual braking systems are easy to adjust and make this an awesome technically advanced reel.

I can quickly change my lure and adjust the tension and keep fishing without the worry of backlashing.  For lighter lures, it’s easy to adjust the spin control.

Casting distance is superb and allows for smooth casts.

Clicking Star Drag – Typical of higher costs reels as this.

Clicking Spool Tension – Also great feature and not uncommon of higher costs reels.

Slender and lightweight.
